- Have you actually though about embeding video files? So that a user may have watched it without downloading, just as you did with pictures? Furthermore, it would allow to generate a new link with [media ] tags used which would be easy to copy onto the forums.
- The other useful feature would be bookmarks services allowing users to post their uploads on facebook or digg.
- And what would really be awesome, is an affiliate system allowing members to collect points for downloads and let them exchange the points for premium accounts or some real stuff...
- How about some basic stats of the system available to the public? Such as a total number of files, downloads, space and bandwidth used?
For when do you predict to release the final version?
PS Tracker does not allow me to start new ideas

You have the ability to fully control how each mimetype is presented to the browser. You can allow videos to display inline, for instance, or allow them to download (the default). Each mime-type can be configured separately.

Not a bad idea.

The problem with something like this is that everyone is going to have different needs or wishes. While it's something we can explore in a later version, it'd be best to gather some feedback from customers to determine what direction to take such a feature in.

There's a setting to show some basic stats (latest files, etc.). Doesn't show everything you listed though. That could be added I suppose.

It's going to be based on testing and some other things (like when the C++ uploader tool is available for distribution. I personally feel that the current codebase is quite stable and you won't have any issues with it, outside of potentially some obscure bugs that we would of course fix up.

New reports in tracker are restricted to customers.

but also i want your script to be able to import them and i can adjust it to suit my forums need
I'm not entirely sure how I'd carry over group integration to be honest. I guess we could have a php file where you define which group in IPB to put the user into in the script. That wouldn't be too hard to do.

We're going to be doing some minor improvements to the website over the next couple of weeks to make it easier to find the buy page, among other things (never a good thing when someone has to ask where it is, after all).
You can purchase the product from here: Upload Script :: UploadScript

As for when it will be ready, all I can say is that things are moving along smoothly. A few users have purchased and installed the software (and pointed out many issues with the installation routine initially...all my fault) and are looking over the features and reporting issues. I think it's safe to expect an updated beta next week, ideally with an installation routine (current beta requires manual installation, which isn't overly difficult, but it's not overly user-friendly either). I will not rush a final release just to be able to call it final, however. I'll label it final when I feel confident that no one will encounter show-stopper errors during normal usage of the software.

Note, I edited the file in Notepad++, and I had to save the php file as UTF8 in order for the 'á' to appear correctly.
